| Meeting of February 10, 2010 "Traditional Native Skin Boats" by Corey Freedman Corey Freedman is one of the foremost proponents of traditional native skin boat construction. He has diligently researched the literature and museum sources for the specifications and construction methods of these craft and has actively shared this material as an instructor and lecturer. For 17 years he has overseen the building of over 1100 skin boats. He has been an avid paddler for over twenty five years and is an experienced sea kayaking instructor.
